Sanwa/Airtronics receivers and servos are now being supplied with a new connector called the "Z" Connector. This connector, shown below, is blue colored and is the same shape and wiring configuration as the JR/Hitec connector. You will also find that the new Sanwa/Airtronics receivers are now being put in blue cases instead of black.

Sanwa/Airtronics "Z" Connector
A. If You Have: Z-style Servo & Novak Receiver
Use the blue "Z" connector on the servo just the way it comes wired from Sanwa/Airtronics (as shown above). The connector will fit into the servo channel slot on the Novak receiver without any modifications.
You need only make sure that the blue (signal) wire side of the connector is toward the middle of the receiver (shown above). If you are using a Novak speed control with the Futaba J connector, the white wire on the Novak connector is the same as the blue wire on the Sanwa/Airtronics.
B. If You Have: Z-style Receiver & Novak ESC
You will need to change the input signal harness of the Novak speed control to the JR plug plastic that came packaged with the speed control. Touch here to Hot-Link to our webpage on How To...Change Input Signal Harness for details on installing the JR connector on your speed control.
Follow the same wiring sequence that is indicated on the JR plug plastic, as shown here.
