Novak has expanded its line of Power Capacitors to include three easy-to-use products to dissipate noise, smooth voltage spikes and lower operating temperature for your ESCs. Each capacitor is designed for specific needs, and here are Novak's recomendations:

GTB Racing Power Trans-Cap Module (#5679)
This is the replacement Power Trans-Cap Module for the GTB Brushless/Brush ESC. The unit is factory-wired with 16 GA silicone wire for easy installation on the GTB ESC’s Direct-Solder Wiring Tabs. The module can also be used with the Novak GTX or any other brushed or brushless racing speed control (except high-voltage ESCs) for improved efficiency and lower operating temperatures. The module includes a 5600 microfared 10V Electrolytic capacitor with a transorb circuitry that provides protection from voltage spikes.
Note: Use of any other power capacitor with the GTB is not recommended and may cause damage to the GTB. The #5679 GTB Racing Power Trans-Cap Module must be used. |

This is the replacement power capacitor for the Novak #1720 XBR Sport Brushless/Brush ESC, #1840 Rooster 12T Reversible ESC, #1841 Rooster Crawler-Edition ESC, #1940 GTS Pro Sport ESC and all models of the Super Sport Brushless ESC. The power capacitor is harnessed to 16 gauge power wires and easily solders onto the ESC’s solder tabs. Use of the power capacitor is necessary to dissipate noise and smooth voltage spikes, and will also improve the performance of these speed controls by reducing the operating temperature by 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit. Includes one, pre-harnessed high-quality, 680 micro Farad, 16V electrolytic capacitor and double-sided mounting tape. |
