RACER FANS REJOICE!

After receiving a few modifications last year, the Racer was transformed into the Racer-EX, a more technologically advanced speed control now even more equipped to take on the competition.

The New Racer-EX takes off where the Racer stopped by adding technology that was previously only available in more expensive speed controls — HYPERFETS! With the addition of HYPERFET II transistors in the Racer-EX, you'll be able to experience lower on-resistance, a higher rated current and tougher braking power all at the same, original Racer price.

The Racer-EX still includes the best features of the Racer, such as large 12-gauge wires for competitive racing performance, original CLC II Current Limiter Circuitry for smooth and efficient acceleration and Novak's convenient One-Touch Set-Up for easy operation.

Safety features include Dual-Level Thermal Overload Protection, which provides protection from overloads by cutting the throttle in half when the speed control's temperature reaches unsafe levels; Digital Anti-Glitch Circuitry, which rejects signals read by the speed control from the receiver that are caused by radio interference; Solid State Reverse Voltage Protection (RVP), which shuts off the flow of current in case reverse voltage is applied, thus preventing any damage to the speed control; and Radio Priority Circuitry, which maintains control of the vehicle even after the batteries have been discharged.

RACER-EX ESC FEATURES
HYPERFET transistors let racers experience lower on-resistance, higher rated current and tougher braking power.
One-Touch Set-Up allows quick and simple transmitter adjustment.
Radio Priority Circuitry ensures power to the receiver when the battery pack is running low.
Digital Anti-Glitch Circuitry rejects signals caused by radio interference.
Solid State RVP Circuitry prevents damage to the ESC by shutting off the flow of current in case reverse voltage is applied.
Dual Level Thermal Overload Protection provides protection from overloading and overheating.
CLC II Current Limiter Circuitry increases run time by allowing racers to set the maximum current that passes through the ESC to the motor.
