Aim for new Heights with the Arrow

Novak Electronics has taken to the air with the Arrow, a high-frequency speed control designed specifically for use in electric aircraft models such as airplanes and helicopters. The Arrow can be used with 6-8 cells, stock or modified motors. Powered by MEGAFET transistors and complete with Novak's convenient One-Touch Set-Up, the Arrow enables aircraft models to reach new heights easily, quickly and safely.

Novice pilots will find the Arrow to be the perfect co-pilot. It comes ready to fly with innovative technologies such as Novak's exclusive Smart Arming System, Radio Priority Circuitry and Digital Anti-Glitch Circuitry. With Smart Arming, propeller accidents may be prevented before take-off by disabling the motor circuitry until a valid "no throttle" signal is held for two seconds. Radio Priority Circuitry maintains control of the servos by backing down on the throttle even after the battery pack has discharged. Also, the 1.5 amp Battery Elimination Circuitry allows operation without the added weight and cost of a separate receiver battery pack. Digital Anti-Glitch Circuitry rejects signals read by the speed control from the receiver that are caused by radio interference.

Arrow users will also appreciate the many protective features that are included such as Solid State Reverse Voltage Protection (RVP) and Dual-Level Thermal Overload Protection. Anyone who has unknowingly plugged their battery pack in backwards to their speed control, or connected their voltage source backwards to their charger will be grateful for Solid State RVP, which provides maximum reverse voltage protection without the use of fuses. Equally important, Dual-Level Thermal Protection is sophisticated circuitry that provides protection from overloads. It utilizes a built-in sensor which shuts down the MOSFET(s) when its temperature exceeds a preset level. Dual-level protection cuts the throttle in half when the ESC temperature reaches unsafe levels. If the temperature continues to climb, it will shut down.

The Arrow also comes with the Novak Input Plug System and factory-installed motor and battery connectors for quick and easy installation. For more information on the Arrow, click on the specifications button.
