The Ionic-D Charger & Discharger

The newly updated Ionic is now a full-featured charger and (10-amp) discharger known as the Ionic-D! The Ionic-D takes advanced charger technology and puts it into an affordable, easy-to-use charger with a simple user-interface, 4-7 cell charge capability, highly visible LED display, and auto-battery conditioning. Three user-selectable operating modes (Auto Discharge Before Charge, Charge Only or Discharge Only) and 2 charge modes (Ni-Cd and Ni-MH2) make the Ionic-D an indispensable piece of equipment for your pit table.

Convenient features such as a built-in beeper prompts the user through mode selections, as well as announces the completion of charging/discharging. The automatic battery care feature runs with a simple press of the "start" button. Depending on the condition of your battery pack, the Ionic-D will either Auto Discharge Before Charge, Charge, or Condition your battery pack.

The Ionic-D is equipped with a Ni-Cd Linear Mode for all Ni-Cd cells, and the Novak-exclusive Ni-MH2 Mode, which gives Ni-MH cells of all sizes the ultimate charge. Novak's unique Ni-MH2 charge mode utilizes a highly accurate charge algorithm that helps eliminate the possibility of false peaking, and resulting in fully charged batteries that aren’t overcharged or overheated. This mode is recommended by the major battery manufacturers.
