The Wicked Fast Brushless System
1 GTB ESC + 1 VELOCITI 4.5-Turn Motor = One FAST Racing Brushless System
The GTB/Velociti 4.5 brushless motor system from Novak is fast. Wicked fast. The system includes Novaks premier GTB Programmable Racing Brushless/Brush Speed Control factory-wired to a Novak Velociti 4.5R Racing Brushless Motor. The system is ideal for competition touring cars. In fact, the system includes all of the extra performance-enhancing components required for world-class racing, making it ready-to-race straight out of the box (nothing extra to buy or install).
Because Novak's Velociti-series motors are specifically developed for the GTB, and each system is factory-tested, racers can be assured that any of the five GTB/Velociti Systems will provide optimum performance. If youre looking for a competitive, out-of-the-box, ready-to-race brushless system, any of Novak's GTB/Velociti Brushless Systems are the way to go.
NOVAKS GTB RACING ESC
The GTB Racing Programmable Brushless/Brush ESC, the speed control used for the Velociti systems, is packed full of features. This versatile ESC can be used with either brushless or brushed motors, has no brushed motor limit, and is compatible with all Novak 540-size sensored brushless motors.
The GTB is also programmable with a user-friendly interface, including 4 different color status LEDs that make programming extremely easy. The brushless mode has 4 adjustable parameters, including Minimum Brake, Drag Brake, Deadband, and Minimum Drive. The brushed mode is fully programmable with all of the adjustments of the brushless mode, plus adjustable Drive Frequency.
NOVAK'S VELOCITI 4.5R MOTOR
Like all Novak brushless motors, the Velociti 4.5R is designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. Each motor is factory hand-wound and is put through rigorous testing, including a final dyno test to ensure that each Velociti motor meets Novaks rigid specifications.
Although the Velociti 4.5R sports the same dimensions as the Velociti 5.5R, the Velociti 4.5R is faster and features a few cool upgrades. The coolest, and most noticeable difference is the set of ribbed end bells. Not only do the lightweight aluminum end bells make the overall weight of the motor lighter, the ribbed design also acts as a heat sink by efficiently removing excessive heat from the motor.
Another upgrade to the motor design is the improved solder tab system. Novaks low-resistant, direct solder wire tabs have always been convenient, assuring users the lowest possible voltage drop, as well as easy and convenient power wire replacement. Novaks new lower-resistant connectors allow for even more flexible soldering options, and are even more efficient and easy to use.
