Team Novak at the top of the podium again!

The 2nd annual Silver State Short Course Championships were held at 702 RC Raceway near the illustrious Las Vegas Strip May 7-8, 2011. It was another year of great racing in a relaxed atmosphere. The fast layout and technical six pack made for some exciting racing and for some close battles that were usually won or lost in the infamous six pack section.

Team Driver Daman Barron was one of only three trucks to do a 14 lap run in stock class during qualifying, with lap times only .6 of a second off modified lap times. Barron then went on to win the A main event by over 10 seconds using the Kintec 2S and Ballistic 17.5 stock motor, with the NovaLink Programming Interface to adjust timing and drive parameters.

Team Driver Richard Narciso qualified 2nd and was one of the other trucks to get into that coveted 14 lap qualifying time. Narisco finished 5th running the Havoc Pro SC ESC and the Ballistic 17.5 stock motor.
