Novak Brushless Power Wins ORRCA Victoria Drivers Series Round 1 Team Novak Factory Driver Ray Munday started his defense of the ORRCA Victorian Drivers Series Round 1 (1/10 Scale Electric Off-Road) in perfect style, taking out the 2wd Modified and 4wd Modified classes held at Keilor RC Club. Close to 80 drivers attended the race on March 27, 2011. Ray overcame strong opposition, unpredictable weather and a very challenging track layout to win both classes after taking TQ in 4wd. Ray used Novak's Kinetic ESC / Ballistic 6.5T (#3143) in 4wd. He used the Havoc Pro SC ESC / Ballistic 8.5T (#3122) in 2wd. The super smooth control and extra adjustability of Novak's ESCs, coupled with the power of the Ballistic motors, allowed him to master the variable conditions; ranging from damp in the morning to high traction blue groove in the afternoon. Thanks to the Keilor Club for preparing a very challenging layout and hosting a fantastic event. Round 2 of the series will be at the popular Mildura track in June.
