2011 Motorama

February 18-20, 2011
Harrisburg, PA

Novak Team Driver Mike Gay competed in the 2WD and 4WD Mod Buggy classes at the fast growing event "Motorama" in Harrisburg, PA. The event included two seperate Nitro and Electric R/C tracks, as well as show cars of all sorts: Quad Racing, Motocross, and BattleBots! The electric race saw 400+ entries, and over 300,000 spectators passed through the event to watch the races all weekend.

In 2WD Mod Buggy, a class with over 65 entries, Mike qualified 8th and finished 4th in the fast A-Main group with his Kinetic 2S / Ballistic System. The Motorama electric track was a high bite, yet very bumpy, so the smooth throttle and brake control of the Kinetic / Ballistic combo was key in Mike's B4.1 vehicle. In 4WD, Mike qualified and finished in the #6 spot. The 4WD Mod buggies were able to clear bigger jumps than any other cars on the track, and the Novak system's smooth and powerful response in Mike's setup was surely up to the task!

Congrats Mike!
